Tim Fowler,
first of all I have my own opinion about multiple eggs - seeing I have 4 sizes and love them and also just two of us 99% of the time. While it's generous of you to consider giving it to your brother you have to ask yourself...
will he or his wife want it, let alone use it? (an unwanted gift to a person with a gas mentality is a waste.)
While I don't have a brother I have a close brother-in-law however twice now in two years I have won large BGEs in contests and I've donated them both to Easter Seals. While my b-i-l says he would like one I know he doesn't have the patience to learn it or to even use it.
