Hi everyone. I just got a large BGE last week and am loving it! Because I'm a newbie I am constantly checking the temperature gauge on my egg to make sure it isn't rising or falling. From reading this forum, I can tell that everyone loves their thermapen, so I'll probably end up getting one, but I was also wondering if you have any recommendations for a digital external thermometer/timer where I would just leave the probe in? Is this not the best way to do it? It seems easier than using an instant read thermometer, since I wouldn't have to open the dome to check the temp. Thanks!
