Gilroy Rock 'n Rib's BBQ Cookoff Saturday August 25 2007. Smitty rolled alone and he has quite an impressive cooking compound he sets up, everybody was envious. This contest was not a sanctioned contest and Smitty only digs the sanctioned contests but the Promoter knew Smittys Phone# and thats all it took. This contest you cooked chicken, ribs and mistery meat witch was pork tenderloin. Smitty placed 2nd in Ribs (see link for photo). Smitty let me tast his Pork Tenderloin and it was very good. Smiitty is prolly the top cooker in the west that uses all eggs...and getting better...
