corn on the cob
Date: 2007/07/09 18:50 By: sumrtym Status: Visitor

For 4 ears of corn (multiply for more):

1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 tablespoons minced fresh chives
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon minced fresh basil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 large clove garlic, crushed

Pull back the husks on the corn (leave attached at base) and remove silks. Rinse the corn and soak in water for 20 minutes, then drain. Combine butter and the other 5 ingredients and stir well. Brush the mixture over the corn, and then pull the husks up. Wrap in heavy-duty aluminum foil twisting at each end to seal. Grill at 350-400 for 35 to 40 minutes or until tender, turning occasionally.
