I made a potion, threw it in the C-Pot and but the butt in... turned out marvelous, mighty tasty - the neighbors loved it.

My brother did one last weekend for everyone, and we really enjoyed it. I was thinking about doing one soon as part of my low-and-slow BGE experiments. No DigiQ yet, but I'd like to try my hand at a pork butt.

You don't need a BBQGuru to do a butt or a brisket. As a matter of fact, it's recommended that one learns how to do things like this first manually, to learn more about temp control.
