Just got home. Had a great time and could not have met a nicer group of people. Looking forward to the next one. I will be posting the pics that I took later. Once again it was great meeting everyone.
jake42, It was great you could make it. I hope you got an idea of what to expect so you can help cook at the KC Fest. Can't wait for the pics, I think.Mike
jake42, I too, had a great time. I really enjoyed the classes; learned a lot from AZRP, Car Wash Mike, Molly and the Andersons. I am waiting for the posts from these cooks to add to my recipe book. My dog even enjoyed the dog treats Molly made! We met and got acquainted with a lot of great people. Casey did a great job; looking forward to Atlanta and next year's Omaha EggFest. Take care everyone.Grasshopper
Car Wash Mike , CWM- Thanks for the post, i just printed it out and will add to mine cookbook. Your ribs were great. I did pick up some Blues HOg sauce, some that will help i'm sure. Hey just a quick question. Looking at and reading your instructions for the ribs, the first picture shows 3 slabs of ribs on the BGE, the final pic shows two slabs of ribs, does one slab vanish using this technique or what. Just need to know. Grasshopper
Grasshopper, Thanks. That was 2 different cooks. You got the 1 I prefer. Let me know how it goes. I have a slab on right now with some corn to follow. Mike
