I found a couple of ways to get polder probes a bit cheaper, sort of. Comforthouse.com used to have a deal and probably still does where if you buy $50 worth of stuff from their kitchen store, you can buy 2 probes for .99 each. Also, sometimes Amazon has free shipping and a discount in their kitchen store. I bought 7 or 8 of them for about $6 each a while back. Of course, by then I learned how to stop killing them, LOL
