Brisket recipes / cooking temp

I was wondering if any one has any good Ideas on some rubs for Brisket and Pork shoulder/butt , also wondering is smoking them at 250 degrees to hot

Hey Dustin,
Salt and pepper works, but Dizzy's cow lick and raising the steaks for beef, and dizzy dust and tsunami spin for pork, are really good. 250 dome temp will work fine for brisket and butts. -RP
