DD,

Someone will post a picture of an Egg sitting in the middle of snow smokin' away. No problem at all. Like was mentioned, frozen water my cause the top and bottom to stick together if there is an air gap anywhere, but this is easily solved by lighting a fire underneath or using a hairdryer.
