Broc -- Just across the Muddy Mo from Omaha!, it doesnt seem to effect anything, heat up the grid, hit it with a scraper or a wire bush and wipe with oil to pick up any rust powder that came loose and cook on it. you can also season a daisy if you want to, i think the daisies are origionally painted with a stove paint
