What a great experience our first eggfest was. The people there were fantastic and just as great in person as they are here on the forum. I want to thank everyone for a good time (except the lady at the hotel who complained at 10pm at night. LOL) and great food. Just a side note. If anyone caught the winning entry for the extreme eggfest was funnel cake, I can't stress enough to really think long and hard if you decide to try that at home. It could be very dangerous.
Rick's Tropical Delight, The funnel cake was not in a dutch oven. It was in an aluminum or some other pan with tall sides.Man, you should see Dennis's van. I don't think he can get anymore in there. It is packed. In fact. I couldn't see Mario. I knew he was in there but I couldn't see him with everything else.Again, sorry about a little slop in there. I was going to take that egg but they had one that was not cooled down yet that they brought to the hotel and since I have a truck I took that one so Dennis could load both the cool ones in his van.
Buster Dog BBQ, probably some chicken wings or drums to set the gasket glue a little more, then 3 pork butts, 2 for my friend vinny's bar/carryout, and one for me, then fatties and more wings for the bristol race. he'll be cooking monday, tuesday, and wednesday! i can't wait
