Morning All:It had been raining steady (not hard, but steady) since about 5:00pm and with the son, daughter-in-law & grandson coming over for dinner had no option but to carry on in the rain (need to get a green umbrella). Tonights menu was thick cut boneless pork chops and chicken breasts using some of the new spices we got today from Penzey's.On the left is Bavarian Seasoning, at the bottom is Herbes de Provence and on the right Singapore Seasoning. Two chops and one breast of each flavor. Here they are just before taking them off. Also did some rolls using Bridgeford frozen bread dough. Just cut slices and placed in a greased pan then on the Egg for about 20 minutes at 375.For desert we tried something new -- Baked Pineapple Pudding. Here it is on the Egg.and a nice serving, topped with pineapple tidbits and Reddi Whip. And of course a shot of the grandson enjoying himself.and trying to corner the cat.An enjoyable meal and evening with family.Have a GREAT day! Jay
Morning dhuffjr:It is more like a pool enclosure, the top is screen also. This pic shows it a little better.I wanted to make sure the smoke had some place to go and it really hasn't been a problem very often, but on evenings like this I wish there was a cover of some sort. Still trying to figure out what may work best for that. I do have an EZ-up, but don't really feel like putting it up. Like I said it wasn't a hard rain, just steady and as it comes through the screening it turns into more of a fine mist.Have a GREAT day! Jay
Morning Rick's Tropical Delight:I really probably ought to just toss them as I haven't used them to hold lump in quite a while. They work real well, but I have been going through lump faster than it is worth to sort and put in the containers.Have a GREAT day! Jay
SSN686, Hey Jay you can do what we do up here. It's called elete panels for your cooking area. Just over the top of your BGE'S then you still have good air for your smoke. The screen company that did your lina can do it for you.Pork Butt Mike
SSN686, Don't recall having seen that view before. Is that some sort of code in Florida? I think every other house on the way down to Orlando that I could see had one of those. Most of them looked like thy had pools.H
