Ramblin Wregger, take it from a fellow NATS graduate, go with the small. If you're looking for portability as well as enough to cook effectively for two (I know you said you're single but I assume that you let one other person hang around) the small fills the bill. The medium is just too large to try to move around. The small has a lot more grill space (and accessories) than the mini.
