Hey Egg Heads- My husband and I are new Eggies and we would like to know if you have any tips for cooking Beef Brisket. It is a very lean 5lb cut. Thanks!

Lea ,

Welcome aboard and congrats on the new Egg. Check out the link below for Naked Whiz's info on brisket. I'd also encourage you to check out the other info on his site.

In short, apply your favorite rub, get the temp dialed in at a steady 250 degrees and wait. It'll take ~2 hrs./lb. or so. Cook until the internal temp is 195-200 degrees, wrap it in foil and let it rest for at least 1/2 an hour, slice and enjoy!

Good luck,

Braddog
