I'm happy things worked out for you. My large was delivered in the box and left setting on my deck back in 1999. When I got home from work and opened the box I noticed the firepit and ring was broken. I called my dealer (Barbeques Galore) and they brought over a completely new Egg.

I noticed in your profile that you are a "major woodworker." There's a few Eggheads around who make sawdust, me being one of them. What kind of woodworking do you do? Just curious.
