Well friends... here's the tomatoes that I slow cooked/smoked... 250 for 4 hours... Romas cut crosswise (~3/4 inch thick)... seasoned with fresh ground salt & pepper, fresh thyme and basil, a pinch of powdered sugar (since I didn't have any granulated)... drizzled with lemon infused olive oil! VERY TASTY! So far, I've added to pasta, green beens and zucchini!Here's the pic from my Native Indian Proverb post yesterday ...as I said, those early Native Americans obviously were not cooking on a Big Green Egg!
