This forum is intended as a discussion platform related to all things "Big Green Egg". An occasional "off-topic" or "OT" is not a problem. But please use your good judgement and common sense and not make it a habit.
No profanity or lewd suggestive language. An occasional "hell" or "damn" is not a problem. If you are uncertain as to the acceptability of a word or phrase, don't use it.
No "flaming" posts. "Respond" rather than "React". Treat others on the forum with respect. There is no reason whatsoever to insult others with rude, demeaning name calling, insinuations, or accusations. If you feel compelled to carry on a personal exchange with someone on the forum, please use E-mail.
Reporting ABUSE and LANGUAGE If you see an egregious violation of the above rules concerning language or flaming that requires immediate attention by the webmaster (for example a cursing tirade), please email abuse911@eggheadforum.com and our web team will be immediately notified of the situation. Please do not use this email address for requests for support, use it ONLY to report "over the top" abuses, please DO NOT get involved with others in a flame war or tirade... walk away.
No advertising. If a post requests information, it is acceptable to respond with addresses, phone numbers, or URL's that satisfy the request. Unsolicited advertising of products or home pages is not allowed. DO NOT use the forum as your "Cyber Soapbox". This is not the place to air your views on matters unrelated to the purpose of the forum or to vent your anger or dissatisfaction with anyone on, or off, the forum. DO NOT POST confrontational messages, such as product comparisons. These always lead to chaos and disruption of the forum. Posts deemed to be confrontational, or in violation of any of the forum regulations, will be deleted. |
