Dome vs Grid Temps
I cooked party ribs the other day following Meat Church’s Cajun Party Ribs recipe. His took about 2 hours to get to 205. Mine were probing at 158, four hours later. So my question is if 275 in an offset is the same as 275 in a BGE? If so, would it more likely compare to the dome or the grid temperature? I cooked these…

Need to lighten my load which means good bye to my BGE in RV. HELP!!
Ok so I have a XL, L, M, MM. They are all comfy at my house. My wife and I have been wintering in an RV for the last 4 winters and I have taken the MM with us for the first 3 winters. I have to be honest, it's not a great grill for most cooks, yes a great camping buddy for the weekend or a great tailgater, which is what it…

I think it's going to be leftovers for us; and I feel the urge to bake some professional cookies using a recipe derived from the scientific method. Posted by (I'd have to look) on my cookie thread. Tasty Beverage: Dr Pepper

OT-2026 World Cup soccer/football/futbol-OT (Go USA!⚽️)
Just concluded opening day matches- The level of intensity is impressive on the pitch. Stadium attendance appears well above the naysayers predictions (both played in Mexico). USA opens tonight at 9 PM (EDT). Fox broadcast ( all matches) so sit back, relax and enjoy the tournament. Go USA!

Pizza night - wild venison, spinach and goats cheese
A log time since I cooked a pizza in the Egg. For the dough, I made a ball then cold fermented it for 24 hours. I shape it directly from the fridge, it was really easy to work with. Topped with passatta, shredded cheddar and mozzarella, sliced wild venison, spinach and crumbly goats cheese. Cooked at 650F raised into the…

Is this a problem?
Opened my grill for this first time this season (yes I know it's the middle of June LOL). Noticed the larger/more expanded crack in the liner. Is this okay? Thanks.

OT - For Car Lovers: Some Recent Exotic Spottings
Have come across quite a few exotics/fun cars as of late - many of which I had previously only seen on paper/monitors. I have always loved cars but have never owned anything too extravagant. A 2011 5.0 was my wildest buy to date, and I suspect the future holds only family-appropriate vehicles, so the sun may have set on…

Happy Father’s Day to all and happy 20th Egg-a-versary to me!
Happy Father’s Day to all who celebrate. On this date, in 2006, I received my first Large Big Green Egg for Father’s Day. I didn’t find the forum for 6 years after that and I wasn’t into YouTube or any other outside source of knowledge back then. I had to figure it all out by myself. I made some glorious messes back then…

Baby back ribs for father(-in-law) day
My FIL requested some baby back ribs for this day, so I dutifully obliged. Cooked in the large Egg with an apple smoking chunk at 225F with the 2-2-until-it’s-done method. I used Tsunami Spin rub and Sweet Baby Ray's honey BBQ sauce which was lovely. The ribs were huge, one of them only just fitted width ways into the…
